“IMPROV HIJINKS” mit LORI DUNGEY
MagicCon is back so warm up those improv skills and put them to good use in this fun, engaging workshop. What better way to start your most excellent MagicCon experience? Our intrepid “Mistress of Ceremonies” is back to loosen up your imagination and get your creative juices flowing. For an hour come along and make things up. She hopes you leave feeling bold and confident and having made a new friend or two. Laughs are mandatory.

Taught by Lori Dungey who has been a professional actor, improvisor, writer and tutor for over 35 years.
The first Artistic Director of "The Improvisors", she remains one of New Zealand's most experienced and finest improvisors. Lori has performed in and helped create over 50 improvised productions and was a Hobbit, Mrs. Bracegirdle, in The Lord of the Rings. She's also a voice artist for the TV show, Power Rangers, which entails lots of shrieking and running from monsters.
She is currently a Creative Director in Auckland with the improv company, ConArtists. She finished a month long run of "The Dinner", an improvised show at "Circa Theatre" in Wellington where the audience supplied each actor with character and story information and throughout the show they ate a real meal.
